In an age when people are told they can’t be near anyone else, 73% of all US adults are more likely to make a purchase after watching a video explaining the product they’re considering.

Ever since Covid snatched a year of our lives away, a lot of things have changed. Chief among them is the way people shop. Gone are the days that you could walk around a supermarket eating random grapes or licking ice cream that you didn’t plan on buying.

Now more people than ever are turning to Amazon, and with over a million new stores opening in the past year, they have plenty of options to choose from.

With all that competition, how do you stand out beyond good reviews and snappy pictures?

A good starting point is busting out the camera and taking videos like a dad on vacation.

A simple video demonstrating how your product works or giving more information about your product is enough to get the ball rolling. You can even reach out to people who have already purchased your product to do a video review – just do it politely.
