Most Americans aren’t planning on renewing their gym memberships, and you can profit.

With gyms closed everywhere, at-home fitness solutions became more of a necessity than a trend in 2020, made evident by:

Gyms were closed at last, hurrah! But eventually going on another walk felt unbearable, plus it wasn’t enough to fight off the sourdough bread and Postmates orders. You know, the COVID-19.

Without membership dues or class fees, people were “rich” and willing to re-allocate that money to fancy workout toys they previously would’ve said “nah, I don’t wanna lose weight THAT bad” to.

Slowly gyms are starting to reopen as restrictions are lifted. Soooo, what now? Will we just start using yoga mats as area rugs and free weights as modern art pieces?

Predictions are all over the map…one TD Ameritrade survey says 59% of Americans don’t plan on renewing their gym memberships after finding affordable and effective ways to work out at home. Or at least a “Beefcake” filter for Zoom, so it won’t matter.

Yet some experts anticipate a surge of people returning to their old routines, mostly to make working out social again. Because who wants to scream-lift a 10 pound weight at home with no one watching?

The reality is probably somewhere in the middle, especially for those who like a hybrid approach. Who doesn’t love sweating and socializing from a distance?

The fitness industry is taking into account this holistic approach to wellness and incorporating fitness equipment that can be used at home with online classes.

Equipment like the Tempo Fitness Mirror, Liteboxer, and the pack of fancy stationary bikes have all made deep impressions, and even Amazon’s diving into this new fit frontier with Amazon Halo, which takes into consideration not only your exercise, but also your body and tone.

That’s right. Amazon’s checking you out, and you’ve got a great butt.

So throw on your Zubaz pants and headbands, and incorporate some health and fitness related products into your Amazon listings today!
