It’s estimated that people will spend around $16 billion on Father’s Day.

Dad’s day is big business, which is bananas because no matter what you buy, Dad can always make a better one. We get it, Dad – you’re amazing. Now can you give it a break for just ONE day?

The increasing popularity of shopping online is snowballing straight through dad’s driveway (shoveled, I’m sure) and onto Father’s Day.

77% of people are ready to shop for their Pop after Covid “touched the thermostat” and had the holiday canceled. 58% still plan on celebrating remotely, which means those online sales are gonna be off the charts.

The leading categories for Father Figures this year are:

  • Personal care – This year a lot of dads gave themselves a haircut. (Actually, he got THEM ALL CUT!)
  • Garden and Outdoor – The freaking squirrels keep destroying his tomatoes; a little help please.
  • Power and Hand Tools – Mr. Fix It needs some toys for the basement.

Also according to a survey done by the NRF, 36% of people buying gifts for Father’s Day are interested in gifting a subscription box this year, so if you’ve been on the fence about getting in on that game now might be the time to pull the trigger.

Get ahead of the game and put some dad jokes on your landing page. If Mother’s Day 2021 is any indicator of what to expect, Father’s Day will turn into Paycheck Day.

Sam had some solid tips for how perform well on Mother’s Day, and those tips are just as relevant for making the most of Father’s day.

So clean out the garage, rake the lawn, and make some room in your wallet: Father’s Day 2021 is here!
