Join the 20,000 small businesses featured in the storefronts section on Amazon and potentially double your sales.

Remember Spencer’s Gifts? The faux brick, graffiti, and neon at the entrance sent a message to consumers: “Parents are lame, and video games should be real life! Let the lava lamps and T-shirts about someone farting soothe your troubled soul!”

Similarly, Amazon Storefronts can give your consumers information about what they will discover in your store. It is an opportunity to curate your brand and showcase your products in a creative way. If Goop could exist, then you should do great!

Amazon Storefront is a powerful Amazon tool that helps businesses create their own customized brand websites and sell directly from Amazon. (You can check out some stellar examples of storefronts here.)

It’s free, it allows your store to appear in search results, it allows you to tell your brand’s story, and it’s a great way to spotlight certain products. It’s like a “30 for 30” but without all the sports getting in the way.

The landing page has several ways of featuring these small and medium-sized businesses, including “Curated Collections, Storefront of the Week, and Meet the Business Owner.” Time to get those headshots updated so no one sees that “I Ruined the Toilet” tee anymore. Damn you, Spencer, and all of your gifts.

A storefront page gives consumers the feeling of old-school shopping…you know, like walking around, browsing, picking things up…basically the pandemic’s nightmare. But people loved it, and they can feel that same experience, sans germs, with your Amazon Storefront!

Alongside this program, Amazon also launched a national advertising campaign featuring small businesses that sell on Amazon.

The Little Flower Soap Co. was one of the businesses recently featured on the Storefront platform and was also chosen for this advertising campaign. It has seen its sales double since being involved in these programs!

In order to use Storefronts, you must be enrolled in Brand Registry, and you should review Amazon’s Creative Guidelines before getting started.
